Pre marriage and children I travelled a lot.
I’ve been skiing, backpacked in Thailand, watched friends get married on a catamaran off the coast of the Florida Keys, taken in much of Europe and, of course, experienced the delights on my own country.
When I was just six my parents spent six months travelling through France, Spain and north Africa. I’m thinking that could be where it all stems from!
When the children came along I wanted to pass that wanderlust on to them – to give them the opportunity to see the world.
Now as a family our travel is as diverse as camping weekends under the stars to luxury getaways as guests of the likes of Disney and Royal Caribbean.
I also recently won an award for my writing in the CLIA UK & Ireland Cruise Journalism Awards for Best Social Media Cruise Contribution 2014.
I also have a collaborative Pinterest board highlighting family travel reviews – because the best advice and tips come from other parents.
Here are the destinations I/we’ve travelled to and reviewed on this blog to date
