Win a Slumberdown Pamper Hamper and CHILL OUT!

chill out

Our main plan for the Christmas break is to veg out.
Sit on the sofa, under a very large fleecy blanket and watch TV, munch on chocolate and do very little else.
We might surface every now and again to visit friends, or play host to family or maybe even play a game or too.
But essentially we plan to chill right out.

Since going back to work it’s been pretty full on in this house. As in: Full. On.
The kids are so active and busy, my evenings are spent either washing kit, at the supermarket, ferrying someone somewhere or being stood at the side of a rugby pitch, freezing my extremities off and dreaming of my warm, snuggly bed.

To us Christmas is about reconnecting, taking the time to do the things we simply don’t have time for ordinarily and generally slowing down.
There is no need to get dressed; just pull your duvet around you and make your way to the sofa where everyone else is waiting. Even the dog.
Which is all rather handy given that I’m a Slumberdown ambassador and their Winter Warm range is all about the snuggly.

Of course, if you ask my kids what Christmas is to them, it’s about reconnecting with friends (so can you please drive me over there mum/can they come for a sleepover mum/can they come for tea mum?), eating at Pizza Express every day and THEN chilling out on the soft in front of the TV.
I’m exhausted just thinking about it. Seriously it was easier when they were babies and couldn’t walk and their most favourite Christmas present was the cardboard box their very expensive sensory toy came in.
