The Photo Gallery: Week 188

Gallery logo The Photo Gallery: Week 188Hello and welcome to week 188 of The Photo Gallery.

Some of my favourite photographs of my children when they were really little are the ‘unconventional’ ones. The ones of their hair, their toes, the way they wore a certain top, the way they rode their first bike.
I call these the detail shots; the ones that paint a more detailed picture of the way they were. The things you smile at at the time but always always forget as they grow up and move into another phase.

And so, to encourage you to dig into the detail, I’m setting that as our next theme: Detail.

Obviously it doesn’t have to be a child. It can be an animal, something in your garden, something in your kitchen, something you’ve made. Hell it could even be you!

Remember The Photo Gallery is about being part of a community of like-minded people. It’s about sparking your imagination, being inspiring – and inspiring others.

It is for everyone, and you will get out of what you put in, so try to visit as many of the other entries as you can, say hi, discover new people, welcome them in when they discover you, be generous with your comments.
