Ah yes the Christmas tree.
Our decorations aren’t themed or fancy or expensive. I don’t care what goes where or whether the woodland animals go next to the woodland Santa.
But our decoratons do tell a story. I can remember where every fairy, bauble, bell, heart and flying sheep is from. Every one has a tale to tell.
Every year Santa brings a new decoration for each of the children in their stocking. And the children remember exactly which one they had and which year. Which I just love.
Our tree isn’t just a huge decoration in the front window of the house; it’s a scrapbook of our Christmases past.
