My 2013 in landscapes

I was struggling with what to do as a ‘review of the year’ post.
There are SO many photos and SO many events to look back on.
And I wanted to do something different to mark my 2013.
Then I saw this post on Dooce and knew that was perfect for me: A year in landscapes.
Because that is what I photograph most of the time when I’m out walking the dog every morning after dropping the kids at school.

So here it is, my 2013 in landscapes. It’s all very British and very rural. And I love how you can see how the seasons changed as the year marched on.

Beautiful, what a great way to reflect on the year. The weather in 2013 was crazy, but the amazing summer really made up for it.

It's great having a dog to force you to get out isn't it? You see so much more of the countryside than you would otherwise. Love that last shot with the mist in the trees, just beautiful
