There is a tree in my garden that looks like this right now.
On the cusp of December, it’s leaves are the most vivid red; it’s stems almost black.
I look out from my kitchen window on my baren garden and this is the first sight which greets me. And it’s gorgeous.
Nature making sure that not everything in the garden is completely bleak at this time of year.
Note: It’s an Acer Bloodgood if anyone is interested. Plant one in your garden; you won’t regret it!
