There are some photographs you would never have in your albums if it wasn’t for your camera phone.
Sometimes you don’t have time to reach for your ‘posh’ camera. Sometimes you’re out walking and you’ve only slipped your phone in your pocket. Sometimes the moment would be completely broken if you reached for anything other than a palm-sized gadget.
And this one is a case in point. I’m sat at my desk at home, tippy tapping away on the keyboard while something prints out on the printer to my right.
I glance over only to see the cat totally and utterly mesmerised by the whirring of the printer.
Any movement will disturb her trance and spoil the moment. She’s skittish at the best of times, so I move my swivel chair round a fraction like a ninja and surreptitiously point the phone at her.
CLICK. The noise breaks the spell and she’s off but I HAVE THE PHOTO!
