One word: Positive

Can you describe yourself in one word?
Go on try it. More difficult than you think isn’t it?
One word. When there are SO MANY words!

I asked my kids because, well, I really care about what they think of me.
They took it really seriously. Went off into the corner for a huddle and a discussion.
They came out with beaming smiles and declared “you’re one word is EPIC” (said in big booming voice).
“You’re trying to flatter me,” I say, “that doesn’t count.”
They look slightly crestfallen and I feel really guilty so I concede. And then give in to every demand for the rest of the evening. Damn.

So, I didn’t opt for epic in the end.
I opted for positive. Because I’ve always been a glass is half full kind of girl.

Why am I doing this?
I just like the idea of trying to distill everything about you into one word. I like the thought process you go through to get there. And I’m nosey and want to know what you’d put.

I’ve asked a bunch of bloggers to photograph themselves with their one word. I love that out of 25 people they all picked vastly different words.
See if you recognise anyone and if you do and you know their online persona, see if you agree with their word!

One word bloggers 3Now it’s time for you to join in too if you like. Fill in that final square. Just photograph yourself – just you – with your one word.
(* it’s not).

Use #oneword if you’re posting on Twitter so we can find you.
And you can link here too if you blog it.

What a great idea. It is really hard to think of one word to describe yourself. I agree with Susan's choice though, she's a real sweetheart!

This looks awesome, I love seeing everyone's. I still think insane should have been my word but hubby wouldn't take the picture 😉 Since Laura agree's I'll stick with it. It really is difficult to think of just one word. Thanks Tara, this looks great. Love it xxx

  10. Fab idea, love seeing everyone else's. Definitely found it difficult to pick a good one for me. I stuck with being honest (that should have been the word!!!)

Somewhat new to all of this, as I just started my blog a few months ago, and to be honest, prior to that, not sure I read any blogs (other than the ones required for my job.) Love this post, led me to ask my 3 kids and it was unanimous…INAPPROPRIATE:(
