At the weekend I attended the blogging conference CybHer, a place for inspirational women who blog to get together and share, chat and well, be inspired.
One of the sessions highlighted the fact that very soon (other than the Queen) there will no longer be any women on UK bank notes.
When Elizabeth Fry is removed from the £5 note and replaced with Winston Churchill, that will be it. No more women.
Eva at NixdMinx led the charge at CybHer, asking for people to sign the petition and blog about who they think should be on a bank note (full details on this #Banknotes post if you want to join in and make a nomination).
So. This week’s Photo Gallery theme is: Inspirational Women.
As usual, interpret the theme any way you like. You can join Eva’s #Banknote campaign and reveal who you would nominate, or you can share your own inspirational woman – your mum, sister, best friend, a carer, stranger, colleage.
Just remember to come back on Wednesday to share your photos with everyone.

If you want to join in with The Gallery and showcase your photos, come back on Wednesday and when my Gallery post goes live, add a link to your post on the Linky below mine.

Remember, The Gallery is about rediscovering photos; both old and new.
It’s about sparking your imagination, being inspiring – and inspiring others.
And absolutely ANYONE can join in.
Also, if you’re linking up to The Gallery then try to visit as many of the other entries as you can to see what they’ve come up with. Say hi, discover new people, welcome them in when they discover you.
You will get out of this what you put into it.
