Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a movie geek.
A perfect night out for me includes a visit to the cinema. Preferably watching a superhero/sci fi film, but I’m not fussy I’ll watch pretty much anything. Except horror. I don’t do horror.
And now my boy is of an age where he fills his rubbish dad’s shoes (“not that keen on the hero stuff”) and off we trot to the movie to see Batman/The Avengers/Diary of a Wimpy Kid (ahem).
So, this week’s photography theme is: Movies.
Do you have an Indiana Jones/Shirley Temple/Spiderman/Harry Potter tearing around your living room?
Is your romance like a scene from Gone with the Wind, or more like War of the Roses?
Have you visited The Beach, or had your own Close Encounter of the Third Kind?
Or do you, like me, remember queueing round the block to watch ET and visiting cinemas when the most you ever had were three screens to choose from? And there were intermissions half way through the film?
As ever, interpret the theme any way you like.
If you want to join in with The Gallery and showcase your photos, come back on Wednesday and when my Gallery post goes up, add a link to your post on the Linky below mine.
The link stays open until the following Tuesday so you have plenty of time to join in.
Remember, The Gallery isn’t about technically brilliant photos. It’s about rediscovering photos; both old and new.
It’s about sparking your imagination, being inspiring – and inspiring others.
And absolutely ANYONE can join in.
Also, if you’re linking up to The Gallery then try to visit as many of the other entries as you can to see what they’ve come up with. Say hi, discover new people, welcome them in when they discover you.
