We have recently returned from the most relaxing holiday in the Loire Valley region of France with Keycamp (more on that later), where the whole family got to just be for a week.
We hung out, we played cards, we stayed up late, we spent relaxing days wondering around chateau and walking along river banks.
Yes, it was bliss.
My 4 year old daughter discovered her inner wild child.
She ran around the campsite in bare feet, she sat on the porches of neighbours chewing the fat, she didn’t brush her hair for 3 days straight.
Then one afternoon she came running home saying all matter of fact: “I’ve got a boyfriend mummy. I don’t know what his name is yet. I’ll ask him next time I see him.”
Life really is so simple when you’re 4.
